Excellent show this week. Featuring 5 great tracks, from smooth jazz to classic straight ahead jazz. Please take some time to visit the artist web sites, listen to the sample tracks and consider buying their albums. These artists do all the work, from writing, composing, producing, album art and distribution. My job is get their music into your ears.

Whatever, off the Smooth Talkin CD, the latest efforts of Richard Franks and Ronnie Kaufman, is one of my favorites. If you’re a Smooth Jazz fan, this record is for you. It features several guest musicans but the talents of Richard and Ronnies are what makes this a truely incredible recording.I’m really excited to feature Whatever but even more excited that this duo has agreed to do an interview with The Jazz Show. So look for this in the next few weeks where you can learn more about this great new record, Frank and Ronnie, and where they are headed. (More bio information) |
Mo Trane is a track off the newly release record Jazz My Soul from the Jazz Explorers. The music for this album is composed by Tim Duffy and performed by a range of excellent musicians, offering a range of traditional jazz tracks. You’ll enjoy the whole album. (Album site and musician bios) |
The background music is brought to you by a fantasitic artist, Travis Vega, visit his website, myspace.com/travisvegamusic
